Eric Carle’s timeless stories and vibrant artwork have touched generations. From Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What Do You See? to The Mixed Up Chameleon Eric Carle’s books have brought so many smiles to so many faces over the last 50 years. “With more than 125 million books sold worldwide, one of his books is sold every 30 seconds!” Now Creative Baby and The World of Eric Carle are teaming up and bringing kids another great product.
Most recently we brought you a review on Creative Baby’s iMat Costco bundle (read that review here), one of my personal favorite toys at our house. Creative Baby is a company that believes in “stimulating children’s minds through fun and engaging activities.” Creative Baby’s products not only entertain and allow children to have lots of fun it challenges them and teaches. Eric Carle doesn’t need an introduction. His books have wonderful illustrations that have their own unique look that kids just love. They are colorful, lively, and full of texture and life.
Combine the functionality of Creative Baby and The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle and you get a fun new product! Introducing The Very Hungry Caterpillar Happy & Hungry Booster Seat!!
This fun, bright booster seat makes a great addition to mealtime. The Very Hungry Caterpillar Happy & Hungry Booster Seat is ideal for children ages 6 months (about the time they can sit assisted) to 4 years old weighing up to 50 lbs. Recently this adorable booster seat was featured as the Product of the Week on the Kids Today Website. And why wouldn’t it be? It has an easy-to-wipe-clean cushy seat pad, a removable tray that is dishwasher safe, 2 recline positions, 3 tray positions, and 2 height options. This booster seat will grow with your child.
I like using booster seats because unlike high chairs, they don’t take up a lot of room. Our kitchen isn’t the biggest and the last thing I need in it is a big bulky high chair. I like that the booster seat easily sits on the chair and buckles on under the seat and around the back. These two places allow the seat to sit securely and safely on your kitchen chair. There is a 3-point harness to keep baby buckled in and safe.
I really like that I can use this booster for my 2 1/2 year old or my 7 month old. This, combined with a built in carry handle, makes it nice when we go to the cabin or just over to grandmas. One chair for both boys! At home Beckham has taken it over as his “big boy” chair. We don’t use the tray because, in my opinion, it sits too far down on his lap. We would have to change his shirt every time he ate. Instead push him right up to the table…something that our other booster can’t do because it sits up to high for his legs to fit under the table. In this booster he can feel like a big kid and I don’t have to constantly tell him to stay in his chair like I would if he was sitting on his knees.
This booster seat currently retails for $24.99 and is only available online at Burlington Coat Factory.
