The Perfect Bowl For Baby {Baby Dipper Review} CLOSED

Now that Hollis is getting older {9 months on the 14th…sniff, sniff}, I am always on the lookout for great feeding gear! I was so happy to hear I would be receiving the Baby Dipper! With it’s contoured interior, non slip rubber base, and matching spoon and fork, I couldn’t wait to give it a whirl!

The Baby Dipper was created by Barbara Schantz, a stay at home mom of twin girls and twin boys! Hello! As a stay-at-home mom of twin babies, she faced the daunting task of feeding them. Frustrated with the bowls she had already purchased, Barbara investigated and bought other bowls, but still remained disappointed. The vision for the Baby Dipper bowl came to her when her daughters were about 6 months old, not long after they started eating baby cereal and other pureed foods. She needed a bowl that required only one hand to successfully feed a baby, but why wasn’t there one on the market that satisfied this need?

Barbara was thinking that to accomplish one-handed feeding, the bowl should not slide around on the table and it should aid in the collection of the baby food. A non-slip bottom surface would keep it from sliding. A sloped interior surface and a spoon-shaped collection point would help gather the food down to the last bite. Also, adding to those features, vertical sides would help push food onto the spoon and transparent sides would allow the food to be seen easily by both the parent and the child. The bowl designed by Barbara has proven to make feeding much easier for parents and even for toddlers trying to spoon-feed themselves. We have been using the Baby Dipper for over a month now and I couldn’t be happier! It makes one handed feeding a breeze! the contoured interior and vertical sides really do help guide the food right onto the spoon so you are not constantly chasing and pushing the food around trying to gather it for a spoonful! The non slip rubber base  makes this bowl extra wonderful. I don’t have another bowl in my cabinet that I can feed Hollis one handed, all my other bowls I have to hold onto to keep them from slipping around. The fork and spoon are also really nice. They are easy for me to hold but also perfect for a child’s hand! So nice. Ava has enjoyed eating snacks out of the Baby Dipper, too. You know, if the baby has something she has to try it…so, I let her! It has been nice, though, because it stays in place on her little table and not once have we had a “snack spill”. I am loving this little bowl so much, I wish they had larger sizes!

The Baby Dipper is a Bowl with a matching fork and spoon. The bowl is designed with contoured interior and vertical sides to help guide food to the spoon. The non-slip rubber base prevents sliding of the dish and the transparent sides allow easy viewing to see what food is left. Everything included is BPA free, Lead free, Phthalate free and meets all of CPSIA standards.
The bowl can hold up to 4 fluid ounces. It can be used in the microwave and dishwasher, although it is recommended to be hand washed.
