Ever had that moment when you open the fridge and think, “What the heck is that smell!?” I have…multiple times in college and a few times at work. The fridge would get so full that people would forget about their things in the fridge. I swear it was never me. Nope! Okay maybe once.Now that I am the queen of the castle it is my responsibility to keep the fridge stocked, rotated and cleaned. Contrary to popular belief that is hard work sometimes. I have no problem keeping it stocked…food and I get along real great…but being a new mom it can be hard sometimes to find time to clean it out and make sure nothing it going bad. Oransi sent me their fridge air purifier to give a shot. This little device is only 4″ tall, not even big enough to be noticeable in the fridge. It runs on 2 AA batteries that will last between 45-90 days. It is completely silent because there are no fans. It is super easy to use, just turn on and let it do it’s thing. It cycles on and off to purify the air and save battery life.With patented Piezo-electric technology it “allows for a high negative ion output to freshen your refrigerator without the harmful side effects of ozone that is found in standard ionizers.” There aren’t any filters to clean either.I have been using mine for a few weeks. I haven’t noticed a huge difference HOWEVER I did have lots of moldy fruit that I forgot about and I couldn’t smell it! I am sure if I didn’t have the Oransi I totally would have smelled it because it was sick. But no smell! That must mean it is working.
