No One Should Be Without Nomad Santas Little Helpers

I love when it rain and when there is slushy snow on the ground.  Call my crazy but it means one thing…RAIN BOOT TIME!  I love rain boots.  I think they look so cute with legging, skinny jeans, or even knee length skirts.  Rain boots used to be so blah…plain black pieces of rubber. Now rain boots have style. Let me show you! Jaw dropping cuteness huh!?  Nomad Footwear is acomapny that strives to create shoes that are not only comfortable but alos stylish and versatile.  They sell sandals, flip flops, rain boots, boots, flats, heels, and wedges.  All of these shoes can be worn by any free-spirited girl, day or night.

When I found out I was going to be able to review a pair of shoes from Nomad Footwear I was thrilled!  There were so many cute pair that I didn’t know what I was going to choose.  I finally decided that I was going to choose a pair of boots. I love boots!  Especially during this time of the year.  More specifically I decided to choose rain boots.  These are great for rainy days or slushy, snowy days. After about an hour of shopping I chose the Moto in black and tan. I had a hard time choosing for two reasonsThere are soooo many cute rain boots! I have big calves. let me start with  Nomad Footwear has so many cute colors and styles of rain boots that I had a hard time deciding.  Should I go with a round to or a cowboy look?  Should I chose on the plaid side that goes with a lot of things or let them do the talking when I wear them?  I chose these round toe, on the plainer side boots.

They are still stylish and cute and not totally plain. I also like that they will go with black or brown clothes. Okay I tap danced as a child and therefore have bigger calves.  I have always had a hard time finding boots to be wide enough for my calves but now that I have lost 50 lbs and toned up from running, it is a little easier. Luckily, Nomad Footwear has all of their boot circumferences listed on the boot’s description.  (I do wish, however, that I could search by boot circumference size. It would have saved me a lot of time.) When they first arrived I thought that they looked a little like firefighter boots.  In fact, I was a little nervous that I wasn’t going to like them.  But….I love these boots!  Not only are they super cute but they are super comfy.  I find myself wearing them even when it isn’t rainy.

I may or may not have worn them on a day when it was 60 degrees and sunny just because I knew I was going to see a lot of people and I wanted to show them off. The only thing I would change is the front part of the boot where the rubber and leather meet. I would have it tailored in a little bit rather than be do boxy. This way they weren’t so slouchy at the ankle. I am sure that this probably isn’t doable with rubber though or perhaps it would have been done. It doesn’t bother me but I find myself trying to pull the boots up thinking that will help. These retail for $75 and are also available in brown and taupe.
