Remember when I told you we recently had our kitchen floors redone? Our tiles were literally sitting on top of our floor. We replaced the tiles with a gorgeous wood flooring.

After searching for hours, literally hours, I made one of the toughest choices I have made in a long time. I found THE PERFECT rug for under the kitchen table. This was such a tough decision because there are soooo many wonderful rugs to chose from that would have gone great in my kitchen. I wanted something that matched the Cabot rug and continued to give our kitchen the Tuscan feel we are going for. That is why I chose the Cachet Stamped Medallions Multi area rug.Isn’t it stunning!? This 5′ x 8′ rug fits nicely under my kitchen table and matches the Cabot rug to a T! This rug is a beautiful mix of mustard, tan, taupe, chocolate brown, brown, and maroon. (To me maroon seems a little more like purple red but this is more deep red than a purplely maroon. Hope that makes sense.) I like this rug because it brings out the mustard and maroon in our kitchen without drawing attention under our table. It is the perfect blend of interest and blending in.I love how the colors aren’t solid. What I mean is look at the picture above…the brown and the mustard aren’t a solid color. They are two-toned. This give the woven rug a lot of depth and interest. Like the Cabot rug this vacuums beautifully and doesn’t shed. If you wear black socks they will still be black after sitting at the kitchen table…not covered in little carpet lint. LOVE that! It is nice and soft and feels good under your bare feet.

Doesn’t it look great under the table? It really finishes the area. Like I said before, rugs are the icing on the cake. It just gives your space that completed look.
