WOW WOW Wubbzy Woozy Walden

A Great Friend {Best of Walden Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! DVD #Review}

Since our kids were tiny, we have taught them to be a good friend.  We tell them not to hit, bite, or even tattle…that is a weird one, someone hits  your kid and you tell them not to tell you?  Huh…never mind.  Anyways, we want them to be nice, share their toys, and help others.  If every kid did these things, we moms would be out of a job!  Can you imagine having every one of your kids be the picture of excellence?!  Mine are far from that!  Sorry, got off the subject again.  If you have ever seen TV (any kind of TV show) you know these things aren’t being taught regularly.  The show creators get us by giving us the impression of “it’s a cartoon, it’s for kids” and sometimes that is WAY off!  I have seen multiple cartoons that there is swearing and other things that are not appropriate for my kids to be seeing.  On the other hand, there are also some great cartoons out there.  I was able to share the Best of Walden DVD with Mia.  She and I love Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!  I mostly like the song!  I am hoping that right now now you are singing “Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! Wubbzy! Wubbzy! Wow! Wow!”  Cuz I have been singing it since I started writing this review :)

Young viewers will catch Walden’s contagious curiosity for non-stop fun, fun, fun in the stand-out collection of seven engaging episodes!  Fans are in for a sweet treat when Walden bakes a marshmallow lasagna for Wubbzy in “Perfecto Party,” plays his “hoopty horn” in “Goo Goo Grief,” and collects figgety-fig leaves with his best pals in “The Last Leaf!”  Best of Walden also features episodes “Mr. Cool,” “Woozy Walden,” “Walden on the Beach” – and a super special bonus episode, “Come Spy with Me!”  Cool coloring and activity sheets and dance-inducing music videos are included on the DVD, too!

Not only is the show darling, but it teaches great things.  Your child will only be shown great qualities to have.  It teaches kindness, honesty, and friendship.  I love in the episode “Mr Cool” it teaches that being cool is only being yourself.  This is something we battle with April on.  She wants to be liked and accepted so she tries TOO hard.  We continue you to tell her to just be yourself and other will like you.  This is a great episode to teach that to young children.  I love all of the bright colors and fun songs/music!  You and your preschooler will be sure to enjoy this DVD!
