Ava has been a Dora the Explorer fan for a few years now! She loves Dora’s songs, stories, her little pal Boots. She has even picked up a few Spanish phrases from Dora! Ava was so excited about her new Dora’s Rescue in Mermaid Kingdom DVD! It is her favorite Dora DVD so far! Of course, she is all about mermaids, so that may have something to do with it! Ava and Hollis were both so engrossed in this DVD. It kept them entertained and interested throughout the three Dora episodes on the DVD. I thought her favorite one would be the Rescue in Mermaid Kingdom, but she and Hollis both LOVE the Moonlight Adventure episode, which includes three kittens! Oh my goodness, imagine my two children pretending to be kittens meowing all around the house! They are so funny! A great DVD

Dora’s Rescue in Mermaid KingdomDora and Boots are at the beach when they find Maribel, a little lost mermaid, who needs to get back to her mommy (voiced by Thalia) in the Mermaid Kingdom. Dora uses her mermaid charm necklace to transform into a mermaid and turn Boots into a sea monkey. Together the three set off on an underwater adventure through the octopus’s garden, past the ocean rocks to Mermaid Cove where Maribel will have to sing to bring all the mermaids together so she can find her mommy.Benny the CastawayDora and Boots are getting ready to have a beach picnic with all of their friends when suddenly a bottle rolls in with a wave.
