We are a shoe loving household. When I say “we”, I do mean every.single.one.of.us. {yes, daddy, too!} I knew Shoe-La-La would be the most perfect book to add to our collection, and that Ava would get a special kick out of it! When it arrived, we immediately sat down and read it together. Then a second read was requested, then a third….I know this would have gone on all afternoon. Eventually, Ava ended up “reading” it to herself over and over again while I did some dishes. She just went on and on about the silly girls and all the cute shoes and how she wanted this pair and that pair! I think her favorite part is when the girls tell the store manager that “those shoes hurt out toes!” She get’s quite a giggle every time we read that page! Of course, after reading through it so many times, she then had to go and try on all her shoes in search of the perfect pair! I just adore when she acts out stories we’ve read! This book is a rhyming book, which I always love and the illustrations are just to die for gorgeous! This is the perfect book for all the shoe lovers in your house, big and little!
