Keen Footwear

Hollis is all boy! He is rough and tough and always playing hard and getting really dirty! With such a rascal of a boy, I have found he is incredibly hard on his clothes and shoes. I am going to have to figure out how to sew as he isconstantly ripping holes in the knees of his jeans…it’s getting expensive y’all! I was thrilled to share KEEN Footwear with y’all last year at back-to-school time and am so happy to highlight their fantastic footwear again this year! I have found it to be high quality and tough enough for my boy!KEEN manufactures hybrid outdoor and casual products, including footwear, bags and socks. Founded in with the launch of the Newport sandal known for its patented toe protection technology, KEEN creates innovative and comfortable products that transition seamlessly from work to play, and enables people to pursue a Hybrid lifestyle: create, play and care.

Hollis chose the Pagosa Mid WP boot in Raven/Tango Red from Keen. His favorite color is red, so I wasn’t surprised at the choice. When the boot arrived I was initially impressed once again with the quality and build of the boot. They are just constructed so well and I know they will hold up to my boys wild child ways. The Pagosa Mid WP is Keen’s premier waterproof hiker for kids! It is made with waterproof, breathable material with a sturdy outer sole to really give sure-footing when hiking around or climbing trees! Hollis couldn’t get them on fast enough and once they were on he didn’t want to take them off. I love how excited the kids get about shoes; both of my two love them. He had to show them to everyone that would look and he calls them his “tree climbing shoes.” It has been a challenge keeping them off of him, so they are getting broken in a bit before school starts. The Pagosa Mid WP Boot is a perfect shoe for back to school. It’s a fantastic, high quality shoe that will withstand the school year. Your little one will be ready for whatever comes during the school day and all the adventures after that school bell rings.
