Making a list and checking it twice! Are you done with your holiday shopping? If you are like many people out there you still have a list a mile long to check off. You probably have that mother in law that you don’t know what to get? Or you aren’t sure what to give your girlfriends? How about your boss or co-workers? Hmmmm…what to give them?
Give gifts cards? Some people may say that they aren’t personable…but I say otherwise. A gift card is perfect, because that person you gift it to can pick just what THEY WANT! No more wasted gifts that end up in the re-gifting closet. LOL It’s especially a great idea if you can find out just what things they are interested in. For instance maybe your mother in law loves to read books, so a bookstore gift card would be perfect! How about your teenager? Do they love music or apps? Then an i-tunes gift card would be PERFECT!
Wrap it with a treat: Find out your recipients favorite candy or dessert and tie the gift card to it.
Add it to a little gift: Find a little gift such as a dollar store item or candy bar. Tie with a big bow and give!
Write a fun poem: Get creative and make up a poem about your recipient and how they can spend their gift card and include it in the envelope.
Send them on the hunt: How about making up a scavenger hunt that they must go on to find their gift card! This would especially be fun for the teens in your home/family.
Remember gift cards are simple and easy to ship too! So if you have family that you send presents to through the mail, you can e-gift them this year through email or simply send them in an envelope and save all that postage that you would normally spend on upping the gift card values!
