Summertime is right around the corner and if you’re anything like me you’ll be spending a lot of time outdoors at the pool or lake with your littles. It gets so hot here in Texas in the summer that if we are going to be outside it will involve some sort of water. I love getting a nice glowing tan during the summer months, but I am a sunblock fanatic. I still get a lot of color throughout the summer, but I am very careful about my sun exposure and even more importantly, my children’s sun exposure. I am a huge fan of a sunless tanner; it’s a fabulous option for getting that bronze color without the exposure to the sun or even worse, tanning beds. I recently found Tan Physics and was so excited to experience their product line and share it with y’all! Tan Physics generously sent me several products from their line. I found each step in the self-tanning process to be very simple and easy to do. First, I started the process by creating my “clean canvas” by exfoliating my skin in the shower. I used the Tan Physics Pre-Tan Exfoliant to really get my skin smooth and clean so it would be able to evenly soak in all the Tan Physics pure ingredients. I made sure to pay special attention to any areas on my body that are usually dry; my knees, elbows, and ankles. After my shower, I made sure to dry off completely. It’s super important that you make sure you are dry so the Tan Physics can be absorbed evenly over your body. I then started to apply Tan Physics.
Tan Physics True Color Sunless Tanner
It is a caramel-colored lotion that applies very easily. It’s great because using the Carmel color guide, you can see where you have already applied and the slight color tint allows you to make sure it’s even all over. If there is a spot that’s darker than the rest, simply rub it in a bit more. Once applied all over my body I allowed the Tan Physics to dry. It dries so fast, which is awesome. I’m a busy girl and don’t have a lot of time to sit around and wait for self-tanner to dry so I really appreciated the quick-dry formula. I then got my pj’s on and went to bed. In the morning I woke up with a nice golden glow and was thrilled with the color I got from using the Tan Physics. If I had wanted to go darker, I could have added more of the True Color Sunless Tanner. I loved that the True Color Sunless Tanner has very little “self-tanner” smell. {you self-tanners we there know what I’m talking about.} It also left no orange or brown on my sheets and I sleep in white sheets. That’s a victory! The Tan Physics True Color Ultra Hydrating Tan Extender is a fabulous addition. It was specifically formulated to enhance, extend and maintain the natural tan provided by Tan Physics Sunless Tanner.
