I love getting dolled up. Before I had a baby I did it more often. Now it is a little harder to do. It takes longer than ever! Even longer than when I was single and put a lot of work into looking really good. Not to mention, have you ever tried to fit into heels that are 1/2 a size too small and carry a baby carrier at the same time?! Talk about tough (Yes, my feet grew 1/2 a size when I was prego and no I haven’t bought a whole new collection.) Now when I get ready I want to make sure how I do my hair and what makeup I use is going to last until bed time. Otherwise, it isn’t worth my time or my money. Two things that a very precious to me.

With their affordable prices $25 goes a long way. Let’s first start with this awesome eyeshadow palette. The e.l.f. Studio Endless Eyes Pro Mini Eyeshadow Palette in natural is 32 pieces, complete with a built in mirror. I have a hard time with colors…perhaps I don’t know how to use them properly…but I am a killer with neutrals!
You can’t tell so well in the picture on the left, go to their site to zoom in on the picture, but some of the colors are shimmery. I am all about adding a little shimmer to my eye lids. With so many colors in this palette, you can do a lot of different looks. This palette is normally $10 but is on sale right now for $5!! Tell me another place you can buy 32 eyeshadows for $5 or even $10! Next up are eyeliners. I received the e.l.f. Essential Liquid Eyeliner in copper and stardust. Now my eyeliner is tattooed on so normally I don’t have to worry about eyeliner unless I want a more dramatic look. These are different though. These two colors are glittery!! I just put them over my black eyeliner to add some twinkle to my eyes. LOVE IT! I recently used the Stardust eyeliner for my Santa Run. I needed some extra magic to make it on this 5K. It worked! Not only did I PR despite pushing my baby in a stroller, but I looked good doing it!

I also received something to help my blemishes. The e.l.f. Mineral Blemish Kit helps heal and disguise blemishes. It is a translucent powder that “has active acne fighting ingredients like natural Sulfur, Tea Tree and Willow Bark to treat acne and prevent future breakouts while penetrating deep into the pores to control blackheads.” I will spare you a picture of my blemishes. Just know, I use this daily and love it For $8 it is really worth it to see if it will work for you. I also received something for my extremities. The e.l.f. Essential Nail Polish in Champagne goes on smoothly and stays shiny. There is a touch of shimmer to it. Now here in the picture it looks light pink, but when I received it I didn’t really think it looked light pink. It looks more mauve to me…okay maybe not as purple as mauve is. Here! I will show you what I mean…
Here I am holding a Minnie Mouse plush. I would consider her dress a light pink. The Champagne polish isn’t close to light pink. I don’t drink champagne…maybe it is a champagne color? Anyone? Well….whatever the color is it is nice. It is more “elderly” than I would normally choose so I will gift this one to my mother and next time choose bright pink or classic red. This nail polish is $2 and worth the money…if you like they shade you pick it is REALLY worth the money! Lastly I received a little goodie for my pucker. The e.l.f. Essential Lipstick will leave your lips feeling soft, looking healthy, and full of color for a long time. I haven’t ever really been a lipstick gal. You see, I can’t ever seem to pick the right shade for my skin. I don’t have a problem with lip gloss…and I have tons. After reading the reviews I decided to try Classy. When it arrived my first thought was, “Oh! This is going look great. Just a little extra color. Just what I am looking for.”
When I put it on and showed my hubby his reaction was, “Well, that is pink!” Okay, so maybe I am not the best lipstick picker outer. It is a bubble gum pink color. Alone I didn’t love the color on me, but if I put a little lip gloss over it I liked it much more. It does go on very smoothly though and lasts a long time. In fact I put it on for the first time a few hours before bed and when I woke up it was still on! Pretty good! It does kiss off though, but when it sells for $1 you can afford to reapply. You can get the wow factor without the whoa. See all the stuff that you can get for $25 when you purchase e.l.f. Cosmetics! TONS! e.l.f. Cosmetics would make a great present for any lady on your list. Smaller things like nail polish make wonderful stocking stuffers!
