We were recently spoiled by Fantastic Sams! They sent us a sweet package containing a $25 gift card and two of their fantastic products! It couldn’t have come at a better time either. I am trying to get Ava’s hair trimmed every six weeks and we were quickly approaching our deadline! She was in desperate need of a trim! She loved getting her hair trimmed at Fantastic Sams and felt so grown up! The stylist was great with her; working quickly but also having fun and chatting with her as she trimmed and styled her hair; truly giving her a great salon experience. I could tell she was enjoying every minute and watched intently in the mirror as her hair was trimmed, dried and styled up pretty! Her hair looked great and we left very happy with the service and trim/style she received at our local Fantastic Sams!
We were also sent three products Fantasticrepair Color Protect Conditioning Masque & the Fantasticstyle Shaping Spray. My hair is not color treated so I sent the Fantasticrepair Color Protect Conditioning Masque home with my mom to give a whirl. She was so excited about the product and couldn’t wait to try it! She has told me since then that she loves her once a week deep conditioning treatment and that it’s her pampering time! She says the Fantsticrepair smells amazing and really helps keep her hair hydrated and soft! I kept the Fantasticstyle Shaping Spray for myself and Ava. We both need some spray to help style our hair and keep all those fine baby hairs in place! I love this spray! It smells great and works really well; it is a slow drying spray that provides volume and hold while working your perfect style. It really helps me to get Ava’s hair in her daily ponytail for school! I know it sounds so simple, but her hair is so fine even a simple ponytail can be a challenge sometimes!

Vibrant. Shiny. Manageable. Three key things we look for in our hair color journey. Wave goodbye to the colors of summer, and add a pop of color to your hair this fall. For blondes tones will go the full spectrum this season, ranging from honey gold to platinum depending on skin tones. Be sure to ask your Fantastic Sams stylist which hair color and tone would best complement your skin tone. For our brunette beauties, the warm tones we saw over the summer month will become cooler just like the weather.. Also on trend will be undertones of violet and mahogany will make appearances this season. Fiery redheads will be all the rage this season! Look for shades ranging from bright reds to cool coppers. Not totally convinced about all over color?
Try adding red highlights for added dimension without a drastic change. Still hot for fall will be “untraditional” hair colors. But instead of the bright blues, emerald greens and bright pinks that were popular this summer, go crazy with tangerine, pale pinks and baby blues and aim to stand out from the crowd with pretty pastels this fall. Balayage, also known as hair painting, continues to be a reemerging hair trend from the 80sm but with a modern touch. Balayage often provides a more natural looking highlight you’re your traditional foils, but hot for fall will be a new technique which adds darker shades on the mid-lengths and ends to light hair – think reverse ombré.
Ombré has been a hot trend for more than a year, and it’s popularity will continue into this season. Mimicking the fashion trends found on the runways and in stores, the newest trend is tie-dyed or dip died where the ends of the hair are saturated with pigment for the bohemian look.
