Duo! {EasyWalker Review}

With two kids a double stroller is not a want…it is a need!


So when we found out we were expecting baby #2 I started researching double strollers. I couldn’t believe how many different models and options they all carried. But which one would be best for our family?

The EasyWalker Duo!

We were graciously sent the Duo stroller made by EasyWalker to review. It weighs 37 pounds so it is a bit heavier than my single stroller that I previously used with my first baby. Lifting this will be a bit of an adjustment on my part due to the size and weight. Plus, being pregnant I can’t really lift that much weight so I left that part to my hubby. He didn’t seem to think it was that heavy. It can accommodate children from birth up to 4 years old. So this is perfect for our newborn and and little guy who will be two soon.

Putting it together only took about 30 minutes and we were ready to roll. The width of this stroller is only 29 inches so it will still fit through any standard doorway. That was a concern of mine before I had the opportunity to test it out so I was so happy when I wheeled it around my house and I was able to go in and out of the rooms. The Duo does feature a light weight aluminum frame and it folds down very nicely. Flat enough to fit in the trunk of my car. I was very happy about that. :)

It features so many wonderful options, but these are my favorites:

*360 degrees swiveling front wheels with a fixed option-turns on a dime.

*height adjustable handle bar-so the hubby and I can have it at our desired height.

*spacious shopping basket-I love shopping and I love having so much room for all my goodies.

*The seats can be independently adjusted to four positions, including horizontal-so when one baby falls asleep they can recline and the other can sit up.

You can also add accessories to your DUO: Carrycot, Car seat Adapter, Foot muff, Nursery bag, Mosquito net, Parasol, Organizer/Cup holder and additional rain cover for use with one seat and one carrycot.

fastfold superlite {Micralite Stroller Review}

We recently took this stroller for a spin and I have nothing but greats to say about it. I have tested out a handful of strollers in the past and have to say this is one of my favorites!

First off, it features a high quality aluminum frame that is very strong. It can hold a child up to 55 lbs. They recommend you can use it from age 6 months up which seems just about right since that is when the baby can hold it’s head up and support itself. The stroller itself weighs in at only 14 lbs making it very easy to load in and out of the trunk and makes it the perfect shopping stroller with my little guy at 21 months.

What I love most about it, is the patented easy folding design that makes it able to stand straight upright when folded shut. I am able to open and close it quickly with it’s easy-grip handles I can keep a good hold on it while I am closing/opening it. I love how easy it is to slip in and out of my smaller car trunk. Since there is not a lot of room in there, this stroller is ideal for shopping trips around town and even a trip to the local zoo.

We tested it out and my hubby loved the one-handed steering. It moved like a breeze and turned on a dime. The 5-point safety harness keeps my little guy in the stroller and I am assured he is safe. It features a sun hood with window so I can see him at all times even while keeping the summer sun off of his face. He loves his new stroller and so do his happy parents!

Twice as Nice! {Jeep Wrangler Twin All-Weather Stroller Review}

JeepIf you’ve got two stroller-aged kiddos, whether it be twins or two under two, no doubt you’ve looked into getting a double stroller. There are so many options out there, and I’m here to tell you that simple is a great way to go.

We’ve always wanted a lightweight, no nonsense, jump-in-and-out-of-the-car umbrella stroller. So I was really excited when I got the opportunity to review one of my own.

Our Jeep Wrangler Twin All-Weather Stroller arrived and it took us about ten minutes to put together. We noted that it was really easy to slide the wheels on. Our girls were excited to try the stroller as well, so we took it for a test run immediately around the neighborhood (thank goodness it was sunny that day!).

We could tell they were really comfy in the stroller. They eventually fell asleep…if you know our girls, you know that they are anti-nap lately. A feature we liked was the cool-Jeep_Dadaclimate roll-up flap that exposes mesh for increased air circulation & creates a head rest. It’s perfect for hot weather days. Since it was warm we kept the flap rolled up, and our girls snuggled up to them like a pillow.

The stroller itself rode really smoothly on or neighborhood’s lumpy bumpy uneven sidewalks. Even though the wheels are small, we rarely got “stuck” (you know, when you need to pop a wheelie to get over cracks in the sidewalk). We really liked the shape of the handles, which allow your wrists to stay at a very natural position as you push the stroller. The adult drink holder on the handle fit a bottle of water (or juice box in our case), and the side pockets were good enough for a snack and some wipes.

Jeep_cupI would definitely recommend this stroller for travelling. It folds up so compactly and is lightweight. It is also easy to fold and unfold.

Also, being a twin mom, I know that there’s that stage where your babies are too big for the infant carrier carseats (which were great for carrying two babies at once) but they can’t quite walk yet. This would be a useful stroller to keep in the car when bringing them in and out of your daycare facility if you can’t drive up to the front door. And the price is so low, that you could keep one in your car and one in your spouse’s car if your budget allows.

And what is the price? The MSRP for the Jeep Wrangler Twin All-Weather Stroller is $119.99. Many single strollers cost way more than that! Each seat can recline individually, so it is suitable for newborns and up. It’s available in three patterns (I reviewed the Fierce pattern as shown above) at Target.com, CSNBaby.com, Amazon.com, and Albee Baby.com, or your local retailer.

Isn’t this stroller a b-e-a-u-t-y? I mean it has so many great features that I don’t know where to start. If you have a baby or are having one in the future this is the perfect stroller. Let me just start by saying wow.

WOW!

This stroller is amazing!

AMAZING!

It was love at first sight.

Kolcraft, founded in Chicago in 1946, started out by making playpen pads. They began to manufacture other types of pads and have since been America’s #1 Crib Mattress manufacturer. Soon they were selling plastic products, bassinets, bouncers, playards, safety gates, walkers, and juvenile furniture. They are teamed up with Sealy, Sesame Beginnings, Jeep, and Contours to produce a wonderful variety of products. Kolcraft products can be found at most major retail chains and specialty stores. You can search where to buy their products on their website.

I was lucky enough to have Kolcraft send me their Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller to review. What a wonderful product! This is a perfect item for any active parent. Add this to your “get in shape,” “be healthier”,” “lose weight,” or “feel better about myself” New Years resolution. Here is why this stroller is part of a balanced diet:

  • When it arrived I was able to lift the box all by myself, without straining. LIGHTWEIGHT
  • Are you tall? Short? Doesn’t matter. This stroller has a Smart Handle to adjust to multiple heights. There is nothing worse than pushing a too short stroller. My back hurts just thinking about it. ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT
  • Don’t worry about your child crying the entire jog because they are bouncing around or their bottom hurts from a rough ride. The tires are air filled and 16” SMOOTH RIDE
  • Traveling with your stroller but never have enough room for the kids because the dang stroller takes up so much space? This folds to 21.5 x 37.5 x 36.5…pretty small for such a roomy jogging stroller. Also, it stands straight up when you fold it. This also makes storage a little easier. CONVENIENT
  • When your child gets sleepy you don’t have to worry about them falling out of the front of the stroller. Just adjust the seat to a recline position and lay them back. KID COMFORT
  • Like every good stroller this one has storage room for treats and shopping bags. Complete with a large basket, water bottle holder, 2 cargo pockets, 2 cup holders, and a snack tray with a cup holder for the cutie. STORAGE ROOM

Now the coolest features:

  • Love listening to tunes while you are working out? Time flies when you are singing along to a good song….suddenly a mile doesn’t seem so long. The Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller features the Music On the Move parent tray. This allows both the parent & baby to enjoy the music. Just plug in your ipod, mp3 player, or even CD player! With the help of 4 AA batteries music will start playing through the speakers! LISTEN TO MUSIC

  • If you are like me, you like to know how far you have gone. You know, this really boosts my spirits afterward and helps me reach my goal during my workout. This pretty thing is equipped with a speed & distance odometer. Takes the guess work out. Now you don’t have to drive the route you ran, use an internet mapping service to find out the distance, or guesstimate your mileage. ODOMETER

  • Need to make a quick stop because a dog ran out in front of you, stopping to say hi to a friend, or needing to “stretch out your quad/ calf/ side.” (That is code for, “I can’t breath but if I stand here and look like I am stretching I don’t look like I am gasping for air.) The rear disc brake makes quick stops easier. BRAKE

Seriously, can this stroller get any better!? I love it! Great job Kolcraft and Jeep!

Walkabye Terrani Stroller Review

TER101-055-2 Do you have a stroller? How easy is it to push? I ask you this because I have pushed many strollers in my day. Small strollers and big strollers but I have never pushed a stroller like this! I can literally push it with one finger. It turns on a dime. It’s fantastic! It’s aw3 Ok so you ask how I came to find this wonderful stroller? Walkabye asked me if I wanted to review their Terrani…and I couldn’t say no! When the Terrani arrived, I was ready for at least an hour of assembly. Low and below I was super surprised because it camew9 practically put together for me. The only thing I really had to do was snap on the wheels and the seat and we were ready to roll. It took me under 10 minutes to get this baby rolling around our house. Now we can both have the best of both worlds because we can adjust the handle to our desired height. Gotta love that! Once I figured out how to take the wheels on and off I was set. It takes down just as easily. It folds compact enough to fit in my car trunk which is a relief as I still have room for other items in the trunk too.

It comes with everything you need to grow with baby! The conversion from baby bassinet to toddler stroller, a super slick rain cover, matching diaper bag, boot to keep little legs warm, canopy shade that is removable, and so much more….

Three Favorite Features:

#1 The Full Suspension….hello yes I said suspension. My hubby was quite impressed with this as well. He spent a good 10 minutes just checking them out. Guys!!! LOL they love that kind of stuff. We loved how much these absorbed the bumps and turns and made for a super smooth ride for our little guy. Oh another thing that we love are the swivel wheels. I told you this stroller turns on a dime, well it can navigate those shopping mall isles like a breeze. So now when I am at a big SALE at the mall I can get to my merchandise fast because these wheels are super sweet baby!

#2 Conversion from bassinet stroller to toddler stroller. Hello….who wouldn’t love this? It’s so nice to be able to take a little baby out shopping and be able to let them sleep as if they were at home in their crib. Then when they get older and can sit up you can convert it into the toddler stroller. Love Love Love the bassinet feature.

#3 Colors, and Patterns, and Colors oh my! I love the wide range of colors and patterns for this stroller. You are sure to find the perfect one to fit your lifestyle. I just have to show you a few of my favorites:w4 Aren’t these patterns adorable?

If I knew I was going to have a girl in the future I would definitely buy the PINK one!
