I will not be able to adjust it to the right shoulder strap size until I can put the new baby in it and fit it custom to her. Other than that it was ready to use, right out of the box. I was impressed with it’s carrying capacity as it can be used from a tiny 4 to a full 35 pounds and up to 32” in height. Also it features 17% more leg room than most infant car seats. That means my baby can use it longer and she will be safer facing the rear of the car.

It features a detachable base that you can leave in the car. So you can easily put the carrier in and out without having to mess with seat belt straps. We went ahead and ordered a second base online so we can leave one in each of our vehicles. A definite must in my opinion.

I absolutely love the sleek look of this car seat. The handle bar is comfortable to grip and this is a definite must-have when you will be carrying the baby around from errands to friends and families homes. It is a Carry Curve™ Handle that features an ergonomic design. The fabrics are soft and very appealing to the eye. It features Premium fabrics with custom embroidery. One of my favorite features is the support for babies head. The material is super soft and will keep baby safe and in the upright position with her head supported greatly.

It also features a level within the carrier itself that helps putting it in the car and making sure it is in the proper position for babies safety. This was a feature that my hubby was definitely impressed with.

Duo! {EasyWalker Review}

With two kids a double stroller is not a want…it is a need!


So when we found out we were expecting baby #2 I started researching double strollers. I couldn’t believe how many different models and options they all carried. But which one would be best for our family?

The EasyWalker Duo!

We were graciously sent the Duo stroller made by EasyWalker to review. It weighs 37 pounds so it is a bit heavier than my single stroller that I previously used with my first baby. Lifting this will be a bit of an adjustment on my part due to the size and weight. Plus, being pregnant I can’t really lift that much weight so I left that part to my hubby. He didn’t seem to think it was that heavy. It can accommodate children from birth up to 4 years old. So this is perfect for our newborn and and little guy who will be two soon.

Putting it together only took about 30 minutes and we were ready to roll. The width of this stroller is only 29 inches so it will still fit through any standard doorway. That was a concern of mine before I had the opportunity to test it out so I was so happy when I wheeled it around my house and I was able to go in and out of the rooms. The Duo does feature a light weight aluminum frame and it folds down very nicely. Flat enough to fit in the trunk of my car. I was very happy about that. :)

It features so many wonderful options, but these are my favorites:

*360 degrees swiveling front wheels with a fixed option-turns on a dime.

*height adjustable handle bar-so the hubby and I can have it at our desired height.

*spacious shopping basket-I love shopping and I love having so much room for all my goodies.

*The seats can be independently adjusted to four positions, including horizontal-so when one baby falls asleep they can recline and the other can sit up.

You can also add accessories to your DUO: Carrycot, Car seat Adapter, Foot muff, Nursery bag, Mosquito net, Parasol, Organizer/Cup holder and additional rain cover for use with one seat and one carrycot.

It is so easy to use. You simply wrap & tie just as the title of it says. No buckles to have to untangle and find in order to secure the baby. I am able to fit the baby all by myself. My baby can face in toward me, face out away from me, or even be carried on my back. I love the versatility of this carrier as I can use it the three ways. It features a nice buckle seat and easily adjusts so I can give my baby that perfect fit each time she is in it.

One thing I have to shout out about is the padded straps. I love the support they give my shoulders, especially as baby grows bigger and begins to weigh more. Hey, even dad will love this carrier!

We recently took this stroller for a spin and I have nothing but greats to say about it. I have tested out a handful of strollers in the past and have to say this is one of my favorites!

First off, it features a high quality aluminum frame that is very strong. It can hold a child up to 55 lbs. They recommend you can use it from age 6 months up which seems just about right since that is when the baby can hold it’s head up and support itself. The stroller itself weighs in at only 14 lbs making it very easy to load in and out of the trunk and makes it the perfect shopping stroller with my little guy at 21 months.

What I love most about it, is the patented easy folding design that makes it able to stand straight upright when folded shut. I am able to open and close it quickly with it’s easy-grip handles I can keep a good hold on it while I am closing/opening it. I love how easy it is to slip in and out of my smaller car trunk. Since there is not a lot of room in there, this stroller is ideal for shopping trips around town and even a trip to the local zoo.

We tested it out and my hubby loved the one-handed steering. It moved like a breeze and turned on a dime. The 5-point safety harness keeps my little guy in the stroller and I am assured he is safe. It features a sun hood with window so I can see him at all times even while keeping the summer sun off of his face. He loves his new stroller and so do his happy parents!

The Ultimate Diaper Bag! {Bugaboo Review}

This is not just a diaper bag for your child, but a modern carryall for adults, parents and non parents alike.

Bugaboo’s self- standing carryall makes it easy to go anywhere you want with everything you need. With clever storage, a changing mat, and two removable, insulated thermal compartments it can go with you through childhood and beyond.

Having a diaper bag is a one of the most essential items when you have a baby! But when you purchase a diaper bag it usually is only used as a diaper bag! Bugaboo recently sent me a bugaboo bag to review. When it first arrived I was amazed at the size. I consider it a Large bag. This baby will hold everything I could every need. Since it is on the larger side I reserve it to use for outings such as trips to grandma’s house or visiting family out of town. I am able to pack everything my baby will need in this one bag! Also note that this doesn’t have to be used as a diaper bag. It would make a great travel bag too! So when baby grows you don’t out grow your bag too!

It features a very roomy interior with five interior pockets.  I was even able to fit my laptop inside this bag along with all of my baby items! WOW…yes it is roomy! The interior is also baby friendly as the lining is easy to wipe clean if anything spills like milk or food. For the baby usage it comes with a changing mat and two insulated food container that you can remove.

The outside leaves nothing to be desired with it’s sleek look and feel. I feel pretty classy carrying it. The outside has two pockets which are great for keys and those items you need to access quickly and it closes up with a zipper so everything stays safe inside.

no messin’ around! {Clingy Cord Review}

My 10 month old son has developed quite the arm here lately…I swear when he grows up he is going to pitch for the major leagues! Of course, like all babies, he loves to toss things overboard and have mom, dad, sister, or anyone nearby pick up and give him back his toy, just to toss it over again! He loves playing this little game, we do not! The Clingy Cord really has solved this problem for us!

A little bit about me and how I came up with the Clingy Cord.  I am a SAHM to three beautiful kids.  I quit my full-time job as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep in 04′ right after I had my daughter Caitlin Mackenzie (aka CaitiMac) to pursue my full-time job as a SAHM.   In August  2007 I gave birth to my handsome little man Chase and this February I had another adorable baby girl, Camryn.  I love spending every second with my kids and I feel so blessed that I can stay at home with them.

I started CaitiMac Creations soon after I had my daughter.  I absolutely love sewing and creating new and unique products that parents will treasure for years.

My husband and I invented the Clingy Cord mainly because our daughter has a bunny blanket that she takes with her everywhere.  It is her most prized possession and she would be lost without it.  Well, on our many outings to the mall, park, grocery store etc., she would sometimes drop it or throw it, as most kids do, just to see me run after it as fast as I could to pick it up and get all the filthy germs off of it.  Well, that little game got old really fast.  So, my husband and I decided to find a product that would keep it attached to the stroller, high chair, shopping cart etc. but that product didn’t exsist.  We did find ones that held sippy cups but it would only fit certain sizes and it never held.
