I first introduced y’all to Sonnet James last year when I fell in love with their stylish and playful dresses; perfect for a playful mama. Recently, Sonnet James has released their spring line of dresses; adding new styles and color choices to their already amazing list.
Sonnet James was created by a mama that wanted to have fun with her boys; no matter what she was wearing. Although Whitney had a career in interior design, her love for fashion and dedication to her sons led her to create Sonnet James. Whitney believes passionately in being a playful and involved mother. She also believes that with the right dress you can look great without letting your clothes get in the way of the next big adventure! Sonnet James was born out of the idea that beautiful clothing should work for moms—durable, comfortable, and beautiful, yet easy to care for. So, enjoy your Sonnet James dress at the park, the museum, and the city. ~Sonnet James
I was so excited at the opportunity to partner with Sonnet James again this year! With the release of their spring line there are so many amazing dresses in a variety of gorgeous colors and I knew I had to share them with y’all again. It was a challenge choosing one dress out of so many beauties, but I eventually decided on the Grey Reese Dress and couldn’t have been happier with my decision. The Reese Dress was a favorite last season and has returned in it’s original color as well as three new colors. It is a classic design and the fabric is incredible. It’s a high quality, thick fabric, and fits like a glove. The dress also comes in “tall” length, which being 5 foot 10, I really appreciate. I have been wearing this dress non-stop; it’s perfect to wear to work as well as birthday parties and play dates. The classic style also lends itself to accessorizing. Adding bit of jewelry or a pretty scarf can easily change the look; dressing it up or down. With Mother’s Day around the corner, I know many mamas would appreciate a new stylish play dress! We all like to look great while playing with our kiddos!
